i painted thickly on colored paper with tempera paint, let it dry. covered it in black ink, let it dry. washed it under cold water, so the black ink that was on top of the paint came off with only a little bit of paint. let it dry.

Wow, I've never seen this style before. I really like it... reminds me a bit of art class in elementary school when we painted on white paper, covered it in some sort of black ink, and then scratched the ink off to make pictures. Except those were never particularly exciting.

Not to mention the fact that I like the painting itself.
